2024-25 NWAC Athletic Director's Cup Final Standings
VANCOUVER, Wash. - Spokane and Lower Columbia each used a strong spring season to take home the 2024-25 NWAC Athletic Director's Cups (Dr. Maury Ray Cup) for their respective divisions.
The NWAC awards its Athletic Director's Cups to the schools that performs the best in each of the conference's 15 men's and women's championships. Points are awarded in order of finish, equal to the number of teams that participate in each sport (i.e., 28 teams the scale would start at 28) and are average between a team's regular season finish and its NWAC championship finish. Teams that do not qualify for a postseason tournament receive postseason points equal to their regular season finish. Ties are not broken but instead are averaged between the tied teams. Cups will be awarded to winners of two divisions (Large schools-8-15 sports offered, small schools 1-7 sports offered) at the end of the year Hall of Fame Banquet.
Spokane used spring championship titles in men's and women's track and field and men's golf to jump into first place in the large school division with 149 points. The Sasquatch also took second in women's golf, second in men's tennis, third in women's tennis and fourth in baseball. Lower Columbia's spring season was highlighted by the softball team's championship run as they went undefeated with a 48-0 record. The Red Devils also tied for fifth in baseball.
