2025 NWAC Transfers: North Region

Below is a list of 2024-25 NWAC transfers from the North Region. Information includes student-athlete name, sport and four-year program attending. More names will be added as they become available to the conference office. Lists for the East, West, & South Regions to follow!

Bellevue

Jocelyn Snyder • Volleyball • Dominican University
Snyder was a defensive force, logging 334 digs (16.62 per set, 8th in NWAC), helping push Bellevue to the NWAC Elite Eight, and added 31 service aces while playing libero/DS throughout her sophomore season.

Noah Fields • Baseball • University of Texas Arlington
Fields earned First-Team All-American honors with a .368 average (.435 OBP, .539 SLG), belting 6 HRs, 19 doubles, and driving in 53 RBI to lead Bellevue's offense and top the NWAC in RBI.

Tristan Aasland • Baseball • University of Connecticut
Aasland staked his claim as one of Bellevue's aces — named NWAC Tournament All-Tournament pitcher and Pitcher of the Week after a dominant one-hitter with 11 strikeouts, anchoring a staff that carried the team deep into the postseason.

Terry Hayes Jr. • Baseball • Ole Miss
Hayes was the North Region's Pitcher of the Year (0.80 ERA, 74 K in 56 IP) and NWAC Baden Player of the Year; he led Bellevue with 14 quality starts and a 7‑2 record as a freshman phenom .

Drew Welk • Baseball • Saint Louis University
Welk anchored Bellevue's bullpen with a 2.28 ERA over two seasons, striking out 60 in 43.1 innings and delivering three scoreless frames in a key NWAC championship elimination game.

Dylan Skolfield • Baseball • University of Texas Arlington
Skolfield led Bellevue's rotation with a perfect 10–0 record, highlighted by a 7–0 shutout over Douglas and a pivotal seven-inning win in the NWAC Super Regional.

Mason Goodson • Baseball • Lewis-Clark State College
Goodson played a key relief role for Bellevue, sealing a Super Regional win with a perfect ninth inning behind Skolfield's strong start.

Ethan Thomas • Baseball • Central Washington University
Thomas contributed meaningful relief work in both 2024 and 2025, including a two-inning scoreless appearance in the sweep of Douglas and additional clutch innings during Bellevue's championship run.

Tyson Schertenleib • Baseball • Arizona Christian University

Oliver Hogan • Baseball • Menlo College

TJ Armstrong • Baseball • Baker University
Armstrong played 23 games in 2024, then expanded into a regular role in 2025 with a .252 batting average, 3 homers, 26 RBI, and 11 stolen bases.

Jacob Gabler • Baseball • University of Texas Arlington

Derek Johnson • Men's Soccer • Northwest Nazarene University

Ignacio Brandan • Men's Soccer • Western Oregon University

Derek Johnson • Men's Soccer • Northwest Nazarene University

Baker was one of the NWAC's most feared hitters in 2025, slashing .500/.569/.803 with 21 doubles and 46 RBI for Bellevue.

Kate Sabarillo • Women's Golf • Pacific Lutheran
Sabarillo earned All-NWAC Second Team honors, averaging a 92.5 stroke and recording a top‑10 finish at the Skagit Tourney and eighth place at an April league match.


Douglas

Celina Bhatti • Softball • University of Victoria
Bhatti appeared in 22 games during the 2023-24 season, batting .196 (9-for-46) with 3 doubles and 7 runs scored in conference play for Douglas.

Emmersen Bonville • Softball • University of British Columbia Okanagan
Bonville delivered a standout 2024-25 season for Douglas, hitting .477 (62-for-130) with 17 doubles, 53 runs scored and 62 hits over 41 games, including 47 conference games.

Hannah Hiebert • Softball • University of British Columbia Okanagan
 Hiebert appeared in 32 games for Douglas in 2024‑25, recording 11 runs over 69 plate appearances with a batting average around .169 in conference play.

Kate Hourihane • Softball • University of British Columbia Okanagan
Hourihane played in 35 games for Douglas in 2024–25, batting .354 with a .380 OBP, .438 SLG, 8 doubles, 11 RBI, and two triples while splitting time at pitcher and first base.


Edmonds

Daliya Prohim • Women's Soccer • The Evergreen State College
Prohim, a sophomore midfielder from Lacey, Washington, contributed to Edmonds' midfield during the 2024 season, participating in several matches, including a 0-0 draw against Everett on October 5, 2024.

Zidan Ochoa • Men's Soccer • Willamette University
Ochoa, a freshman goalkeeper from Seattle, Washington, started in 4 of 5 matches for Edmonds, accumulating 23 saves and allowing 19 goals over 267 minutes.

Jassim Azzouzi • Men's Soccer • University of Maine Fort Kent
Azzouzi, a forward for Edmonds, registered an assist in a 2–0 victory over Shoreline on September 23, 2023, contributing to the team's offensive efforts.

Jenaly Gabriel • Women's Basketball/Softball • Benedictine University Mesa

Eli Knowlton • Baseball • Rogers State University

AJ Hendrickson • Baseball • Northwest Nazarene University

Alissa Hermansen • Softball • Pacific University
Hermansen hit .371 in 140 at bats with seven home runs, 44 runs batted in and 41 runs scored. She also went 18-7 in the circle with 160 strikeouts in 172 innings pitched, anchoring the Everett pitching staff and earning North Region Pitcher of the Year honors.

Kenidee Holden • Softball • Warner Pacific University
Holden played in 39 games (24 conference) for Everett during the 2024–25 season, logging 112 plate appearances (84 at‑bats), with 27 hits, 27 runs scored, 8 doubles, and 2 triples, helping anchor the outfield and contributing significantly to the team's offensive depth.

Alli Hillyard • Volleyball • Alfred State College
Hillyard logged 92 kills, 48 digs, and a .214 hitting percentage across 24 matches in Everett's 2024‑25 volleyball season, playing as a key outside hitter for the Tritons.

Nathan Harb • Baseball • Niagara University
Harb posted a 1.25 ERA in Everett relief work over 21.2 innings in 2025, striking out 24 batters with a 1.06 WHIP in limited action.

Rece Allensworth • Baseball • Niagara University
Allensworth appeared in four games for the Trojans, finishing with three strikeouts over three innings.

Max Paterson • Baseball • Loyola Marymount University
Paterson slugged .381 with 43 hits, 8 doubles, and 29 RBI over 113 plate appearances for Everett in 2025, posting a strong .981 OPS.

Anthoney Ray‑Kirk • Men's Track & Field • Orange Coast College
Ray‑Kirk earned All‑Region recognition at the 2025 NWAC North‑West Regional, placing 4th in the Men's 400 m with a split of 53.09 seconds, and anchored Everett's 4×100 m and 4×400 m relays.


Olympic

Chason Beltran • Baseball • Simpson University
Beltran last appeared for the Rangers in 2024 where he had a .250 batting average with two RBI, nine runs scored and eight stolen bases in 11 games.

Brandon Berg • Baseball • Waldorf University
Berg appeared in 23 games over his two years with the Rangers, pitching 19.2 innings with 17 strikeouts.

Nicho Crowley • Baseball • Texas A&M Corpus Christi
Crowley was a First Team West Region honoree pitcher as he went 4-4 in 12 starts with a low 2.16 earned run average. He struck out 103 batters in 75 innings, pitching five complete games. 

Sean Shaffer • Baseball • Corban University
Shaffer had a .265 batting average for Olympic, recording three doubles, one triple, one home run, 23 RBI and 24 runs scored. He also stole 11 bags on the base paths.

Payton Davis • Men's Basketball • Evergreen College
Davis played in 25 games and made 15 starts for the Rangers, averaging 20.6 minutes per game, 6.1 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.

Kanye Taylor  • Men's Basketball • Evergreen College
Taylor was the top scorer for Olympic in 2024-25, averaging 22.4 points per game while playing 33 minutes per contest. He also averaged 7.2 rebounds per game.

Orlando Chiqiti  • Men's Golf • Warner Pacific
Chiqiti tied for 21st at the 2025 NWAC Championships with a two-round score of 161. After a tough first day, Chiqiti shot 72 in round two, which was tied for the third best score of the day.

Spencer Harader • Men's Golf • Simpson University
Harader had an average score of 92.4 on the season, posting his best score of 171 at the Centralia League Match.

David Andrews • Men's Track & Field • Montana Tech University
Andrews took seventh place in the hammer throw at the NWAC Championships with a mark of 45.74 meters. He also competed throughout the season in the shot put, discus and javelin throws.

Ivan Picazo • Men's Track & Field  • Saint Martin's University
Picazo won the NWAC title in the hammer throw with a mark of 51.57 meters. He also finished sixth in the shot put at 13.73 meters.

Raquel Thomas • Softball • Corban University
Thomas had a .296 batting average with five doubles, one triple, one home run, nine RBI and 18 runs scored for the Olympic softball team. She also stole seven bases.

Sophie Bronson • Women's Basketball • Northwest Indian College
Bronson played in 25 games and made five starts for the Rangers, averaging 2.2 points per game to go along with 1.9 assists and 1.6 rebounds per game.

Allie Greene • Women's Basketball • Haskell University
Greene was a NWAC North Region First Team selection as she led the Rangers with 15.6 points per game to go with 4.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. She helped Olympic finish with a 20-9 overall record and a trip to the NWAC Sweet 16.

Allanah Northam • Women's Basketball • Benedictine University - Mesa
Northam was the point guard for the Rangers as she started 26 games, earning North Region Second Team honors and a spot on the All-Defensive Team with 2.5 steals per game.

Marina Spitzer • Women's Basketball • Pacific Lutheran
Spitzer was also a North Region First Team honoree as she had a strong season with 14.3 points per game, adding 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game. She led the team with 77 made three pointers.

Aalliya Alcorn • Women's Track & Field • Evergreen State College
Alcorn made the podium three times at the 2025 NWAC Championships, first as an individual in the 400 meters as she took fifth with a time of 1:04.80. She also was a part of the women's 4x100 relay team that took fourth in 49.94 seconds and the 4x400 relay team that placed seventh in 4:29.69.

N'Dya Hudson • Women's Track & Field • Western Colorado State
Hudson earned four medals at the 2025 NWAC Championships with third place finishes in the 100 (12.46) and 200 (25.40) meter dashes. Along with Alcorn, she was on both the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay teams that made the podium.


Peninsula

Albin Rosenlund • Men's Basketball • Algoma University

Shawna Larson • Women's Soccer • Sacramento State
Larson was the NWAC Baden Player of the Year in 2024 as she led Peninsula to an undefeated season, winning the championship. Larson finished with team high's of 13 goals, nine assists, 35 points and 52 shots. She was also the North Region MVP and Offensive Player of the Year.

Shalylynn Banaay • Women's Soccer • Cal State Bakersfield
Banaay was a part of the Peninsula defense that allowed an NWAC-low four total goals in 15 wins. The Pirates had 12 shutouts defensively as a team. Banaay started three games, playing in 13 with one assist.

Rylie Echavaria • Women's Soccer • Cal State Bakersfield
Echavaria was a defensive midfielder for the champion Pirates, playing in 11 games with one assist and seven shots.

Evee Stoddard • Women's Soccer • Oregon State
Stoddard started 14 of 15 games for the Peninsula defense that allowed just four goals all season. She had one assist on the year and was integral to the team's dominance defensively. She was named North Region First Team defender and the North Region Defensive Player of the Year.

Gemma Rowland • Women's Soccer • Western Washington
Rowland was a North Region First Team selection as she started 13 games for the Pirates with one assist, pairing with Stoddard to form a formidable back line for Peninsula.

Marley Hamlett • Women's Soccer • Cal Poly Humboldt
Hamlett played in 11 games and started 10 defensively for the Pirates.

Jaeda Edayan • Women's Soccer • Western Oregon
Mae Edayan played in all 15 games for PC, starting 11 as she scored one goal with four assists for six points, adding 17 total shots.

Desi Dutra • Women's Soccer • Ottawa University (AZ)
Dutra started 14 of 15 games at the forward position, posting four goals and four assists for 12 points, including two game-winning goals.

Kylie Janke • Women's Soccer • Cumberland University
Janke played in seven games for the Pirates.

Risa Nishida • Women's Soccer • University of Northwestern
Nishida was Second Team All-North Region for Peninsula as she posted 11 goals and two assists for 24 points, ranking top-10 in the NWAC and third on the team. She did so mostly coming off the bench with three starts, adding two goals.

Sid Gunton-Day • Men's Soccer • Midland University
Gunton-Day started all 18 games for the Pirates and played every minute in their three postseason wins. He was named All-North Region Second Team as he was part of a defense that allowed just 19 goals all season, helping lead the Pirates to their second title in a row.

Julius Koelle • Men's Soccer • Midland University
Koelle played in 14 games and made four starts, scoring two goals with two assists for six total points.

Laurin Lettow • Men's Soccer • Midland University
Lettow started 15 games in goal including the entire postseason for the Pirates as he earned First Team All-North Region. He allowed 18 goals for a 1.31 goals against average, making 59 saves with five shutouts.

Konrad Mueller • Men's Soccer • Utah Valley University
Mueller started 15 of 18 games for the Pirates as he earned First Team All-North Region at the midfield. Mueller scored five goals with one assist for 11 total points on the season.

Nil Grau • Men's Soccer • Utah Valley University
Grau was the 2024 NWAC Baden Player of the Year as he paced the entire conference with 19 goals, 12 assists and 50 points in 17 games. Grau had 12 more points than the next closest player in the conference as he scored a goal in 14 of 17 games he played in.
 
Jem Ndja • Men's Soccer • Midland University
Ndja played in 13 games with three starts for the Pirates, tallying six shots from the midfield position.

Caleb Rollo • Men's Soccer • Northwest University
Rollo made 11 starts and played in 17 games on the defensive line for Peninsula, helping lead them to a top-five defensive finish in the entire NWAC.

Pau Vivas • Men's Soccer • Midland University
Vivas scored seven goals with three assists in 16 games, making seven starts for the Pirates. He provided valuable secondary scoring for Peninsula.

Ciera Agasiva • Women's Basketball • Montana State Northern
Agasiva was a First Team All-North Region selection as she started all 26 games for the Pirates, helping lead them to a 24-3 record and a Final Four appearance. Agasiva averaged 31.6 minutes per game, 12.3 points per game, 5.0 rebounds per game and 3.0 assists per game.

Jelissa Julmist • Women's Basketball • Park University (AZ)
Julmist started all 21 games she played in for Peninsula, averaging 23.1 minutes per game. She led the team with 8.6 rebounds per game, adding 9.7 points per game.

Lexi Mackey • Women's Basketball • Southern Nazarene University
Mackey was First Team All-North Region as she also started all 26 games for the Pirates. She averaged the second most points per game on the team at 12.8, to go along with 7.6 rebounds per game and 23 total blocks. She was also selected to the All-Defensive Team for the North.

Shania Moananu • Women's Basketball • Montana State Northern
Moananu was All-North Region Second Team as she averaged 9.4 points per game, playing 28.5 minutes per game. She also added 4.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.


Skagit Valley

Hayden Claeys • Volleyball • Eastern Oregon University
Claeys led Skagit Valley to its first NWACChampionship in 2024, recording 56 assists in the title match, earning North Region MVP and Baden NWAC Volleyball Player of the Year honors.

Bennett O'Connor • Men's Basketball • University of Fraser Valley
A key guard for Skagit Valley, O'Connor was a late-game three-point threat and earned North Division First Team All‑Conference and All‑American recognition.

Amare Jackson • Men's Basketball • University of Mary
Jackson averaged 16.6 points, 4.1 assists, and 3.3 rebounds in his NWAC career at Skagit Valley.

Sylas Williams • Men's Basketball • University of Alaska Anchorage
Williams was dominant for the Skagit Valley Cardinals, averaging 20.6 points and 11.8 rebounds per game en route to North Region MVP honors.

Max Mkpa • Men's Basketball • Ottawa University Arizona
Mkpa appeared in 29 games for Skagit Valley in 2024–25 shooting 56.3% from the field, 50.0% from three, and scoring an average of 7.1 points per game while anchoring the Cardinals' frontcourt defense and earning All‑Defensive Team honors.

Leira Freeburg‑Perez • Softball • Mount Marty University
Freeburg‑Perez appeared in 35 games for Skagit Valley in 2024‑25, batting .333/.385/.410 with 9 doubles, 2 triples, and 22 RBI while starting primarily at first base and catcher.

Kasi Thomas • Softball • Central Washington University
Thomas was a North Region First Team catcher as she hit an incredible .489 with 13 home runs, 52 RBI, 72 runs scored, 16 doubles, three triples and 23 stolen bases.


Whatcom

Missy Blanke • Women's Basketball • Evergreen State College
Blanke averaged 5.0 points per game across 22 appearances for Whatcom in the 2024‑25 season, shooting 32.2% from the field and contributing as a steady guard off the bench.

Koren Collier • Men's Soccer • Chaminade University
