Evans had a huge impact in Big Bend's two wins last week, including an 80-75 overtime win over Columbia Basin, and a 77-56 win at Blue Mountain. In the overtime victory, Evans dropped 28 points with eight assists, six rebounds, two steals and a block after moving from small forward to point guard. She played in 44 minutes in the game and shot 7-for-11 from beyond the arc. Then against BMCC, she finished with 13 points, seven assists and seven boards. Overall, she averaged 20.5 points, 7.5 assists and 6.5 rebounds.

"Kaliyah had to step up for us this week as we lost our starting point guard to a torn ACL last week," said head coach Preston Wilks. "We moved Kaliyah over from our small forward position to play PG and she responded with 28 points, eight assists and six rebounds in our win over #8 ranked CBC."
