Orton had two great games in leading Lane to a 1-1 week in conference play, starting with a 91-48 win over Southwestern Oregon before falling by just one point to Clackamas 67-66 on the road in a thriller. Orton averaged 28.5 points per game, 4.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals in the two games, playing 32.5 minutes per game while shooting 50 percent from the floor and 63.5 percent from beyond the arc. Against Clackamas, Orton was tough to stop with 33 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
