Spokane Men's Golf Wins 9th NWAC Title by 1 Stroke

YAKIMA, Wash. - The Spokane men's golf team won its ninth program title by just one stroke on Monday at the 2025 NWAC Men's Golf Championship at Apple Tree Golf Course.

The Sasquatch claimed their first title since 2016 as they narrowly bested Bellevue by one stroke, finishing 31-over par as a team through the two-day tournament.

Spokane was led by the top-two individual performers in medalist Curtis Seidel and second place finisher Jakeb Vallance. Seidel shot a two-round score of 145, one-over par to claim medalist honors. He had the best second round of the tournament as he shot 70, 2-under par on Monday. Vallance tied for the best first round as he shot 72, finishing at +3 overall. Defending NWAC Champion Trey Lecheminat took eighth place at +8 while Seth Swallows placed 27th to round out the scoring for the Sasquatch.

Bellevue took second overall as they shot +32 over the two days. The Bulldogs were led by Saum Sabetian who tied for fourth at +6. Columbia Basin was also in the mix as they finished only three strokes behind Bellevue at +35. CBC's TJ Murdock tied with Sabetian for fourth at +6. 

Olympic's Seth Headrick placed third overall as an individual, shooting +5. Columbia Basin's Jesus Castaneda and Bellevue's Milo Stover tied for sixth at +6. After Lecheminant in eighth, Bellevue's Matthew Davidson took ninth at +9 and SW Oregon's Rune Van den Bosch placed 10th at +10.
