Adidas Women's XC Athlete of the Week – Week 4

Event: 5k run; Mark: – 19:01.49 at Everett XC Invitational

Christina Savenkova won the women's 5k with a time of 19:01.49, her fastest time of the year and led Edmonds to the team victory over Whatcom. Also the fastest 5k time in the NWAC this year.  

"Christina continues to work smart in her training and it's paid off with wins in all three of her races," said Shelby Schenck. "She's as tough as they come and is one of the strongest competitors I've ever coached."
